Josh Plumley got into the business of advancing causes and institutions with the goal of equipping them to become masters at growing givers’ hearts in order to secure all the resources they would ever need to be sustainable. He joined Mission Advancement after 18 years in nonprofit management and fundraising roles. As a Managing Consultant, he now leads and supports a variety of projects and team members, bringing his years of major gift leadership to Mission Advancement clients.
As the former Senior Director at Children At Heart Ministries (CAHM), Josh oversaw multimillion-dollar campaigns, led the mid-major gifts team, and collaborated with senior leadership from multiple affiliates on key strategic initiatives and board development. Josh has worked with a variety of social service and humanitarian causes. Additionally, he is on the executive team for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Houston Chapter. In that role, Josh chairs the Strategic Change Committee.
Josh, his wife Angela, and their children Lea and Luke live in Houston, Texas. They love spending time together playing board games, eating Mediterranean food, being involved with their church, and adventuring at all the parks across Houston.
