Kedrienne brings over 12 years of experience in the education and nonprofit space, having held various positions in both sectors, primarily focused on frontline and event fundraising, brand awareness, and relationship-building.
A Mississippi native, Kedrienne obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi. Shortly after college, she began what became an eight-year career in corporate sales and marketing with Enterprise Holdings. However, it was her passion for mission-driven work that led Kedrienne to switch gears and relocate to Houston, Texas to begin a career in corporate fundraising with the American Cancer Society. Utilizing her extensive experience in corporate and foundation relations, Kedrienne has supported the work of advancing educational equity in Houston with roles at Teach For America, University of St. Thomas-Houston, and the University of Houston-Downtown.
Kedrienne is a member of AFP-Houston, where she serves on the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access) committee; the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s Black Heritage Committee; and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and has served on the board of Executive Women International-Houston. Kedrienne is most proud of her title as aunt to two amazing kiddos, Arian and Ariah.
