Who We Are

Mission Advancement Professionals (MAP) was founded in 2007 with the objective of bringing our distinctive, people-centered fundraising philosophy to nonprofit organizations. As principal and major gifts specialists, we counsel organizations through raising capital, growing annual operational funding, and creating long-term development strategies. We bring creativity and innovation to the process of strengthening donor relationships and realizing transformational gifts in support of an organization’s mission.

Our success is directly attributed to the work of our team. Mission Advancement employees are rewarded for their contributions through our profit-sharing plan.

Employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as an HSA option. Mission Advancement contributes to the cost, making the monthly amount employees pay for medical coverage for themselves and their families competitively affordable.

Save for your retirement through our 401(k) plan with pre-tax or Roth contributions. Mission Advancement will match employee contributions up to 6% of their eligible earnings.

We pride ourselves on being constant learners. Mission Advancement invests in employees’ ongoing personal development through regular instruction and cross-training opportunities.

Work smarter, not harder. With our technology and office expense allowance and cell phone reimbursement, get the technology you need to be at your most productive self.

All work and no play? No way. Mission Advancement employees have fun working together and also enjoy a flexible work schedule that accommodates life’s other priorities. Employees enjoy a generous vacation policy including 10 corporate holidays, 2 floating holidays, and the day off for your birthday.

“Mission Advancement's methodology of tapping into the capacity of a relatively small number of individual donors rather than the local churches to fund our campaign has produced results we have never seen before in Indiana. We have surpassed the expectations of the feasibility study and are closing in on our victory goal, which will exceed our original need by over $3 million.”
